This beautiful cable is an economical version of our prestige series cables (as our assymetric1 pure silver interconnect) by using common motifs in total design including our self-shielded technology. The best available quality in a reasonable price bracket with look and performance that belie it's price. Thus, it represents a genuine alternative for the style-conscious audio enthusiast allowing everybody to experience pleasure from music at the same time.
The murelli is a light flexible self-shielded twin-core interconnect cable in a bright-orange color. It is much less reactive to the signal than conventional fully shielded cables. Hence, it sounds faster, relaxing and more open than their fully shielded counterparts.

The two signal conductors are specially made of 99.99% (4N) high purity Oxygen Free Copper (OFC), which has excellent conductivity. The manufacturing process eliminates the surface mechanical anomalies improving the electrical signal transmission properties, giving extremely low distortion. Moreover, by using a specific process, each end of our copper conductors is perfectly polished, in order to become elliptical and avoid electric evacuations. We use single signal and signal return conductors providing similar field geometry per length unit. Likewise, the use of a single conductor for signal and signal return eliminates chaotic electron migration through the usual conductor strands and their imperfect barriers.

To eliminate the problem of copper corrosion in the course of time as well as the dielectric material effect, an extremely thin, almost transparent lacquer coating is used providing flexibility, electric insulation, and durability. The result is a time-lasting stable product capable of avoiding chemical attacks, protected from atmospheric pollutants.

As a dielectric effect reducer, since beyond the extremely thin lacquer coating, there is nothing but air which causes no dielectric effect.
As a metal to metal suspension, reducing the vibrations coming from the current running through the audio cables and the loudspeakers themselves, rendering any microphonic effects insignificant.
As a joint material, reducing dramatically the micro-movements between the copper conductors avoiding the static electricity (conveyance of electrons) distortion.

By twisting the two copper conductors together and keeping cross-sections quite small we reduce magnetic hum and skin effect. Using a unique anthropocentric mathematical algorithm we manage to make different lengths in the twisting process providing a significant diminution at the internal interjection between the conductors. This assymetrical self-shielded technology dramatically facilitates distortion rejection produced by the electromagnetic interface (EMI) and the radiofrequency interface (RFI), rendering the use of an external shield practically insignificant providing a good balance between shielded and unshielded "nude" interconnect cables and thus negating the otherwise notorious dilemma.

This cable is airproofed by carefully isolating the sensitive copper conductors out of the atmosphere and penetration of humidity keeping the capacitance stable and low. Providing excellent digital signal transmission quality the murelli is also recommended for use as a very good digital interconnect.

Total cable capacitance is 81 pF/m.
Total cable resistance is a very low 0.064 ohm/m.
Total cable weight remains remarkably low (22gram/m) in order to protect your delicate equipment sockets.

An arrow printed in the outer label indicates the direction as the signal flows from the source. Finally, a thin double layer halogen free jacket of 5.2mm external diameter provides excellent flexibility, electric insulation, and durability. This layer independently hangs to the connectors using our patented Elastic hanging mechanism, offering significant advantages thus rendering murelli practically uninfluenced by any alteration in the wires metal structure.

The murelli interconnect cable is available with our minimal metal content, gold plated RCA quality connectors. These superb conductivity connectors are designed to present a significantly low capacitance. Before lead-free and halogen-free soldering, using high purity, 4% silver solder, pressure is applied to stabilize the conductors and ensure a suitable low resistance contact. The process of melting and solidifying takes place within narrow temperature ranges so that the surface of the solder joint remains smooth and corrosion-protected. This connecting method tend to provide the best signal transfer results.
A thick liquid treatment oil is applied on the solder surface as well as on all our RCA connectors to eliminate corrosion thus increasing electrical contact stability. In addition, each connector is protected from dust and corrosion by a white soft plastic cover cup.
After unpacked we recommend not disposing the plastic covers. Use them in order to protect the unused RCA sockets to your amplifier from moisture, dust, corrosion and any accidental insert.

Before packing we use our cables demagnetizing method neutralizing all metal and non-metal parts on the cables in a three-stage procedure.

Finally, as with all our cables, the murelli interconnect cable is carefully checked and separately tested in our laboratory by a highly skilled master technician to ensure a reliable product and a fully satisfied owner, offering a significant upgrade to your valuable audio system.
The murelli is carefully packed in a cardboard box to protect this cable and prevent any damage and has a unique serial number same as the cable. Inside the box you will also find all necessary documentation and instruction manuals. The murelli, if registered, comes with a 6-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
